Viva La Verve! VLVJun04
Can't believe its been 2 weeks since I've posted anything! I've made this card for VLVJun04. Its been while since I last participated in Viva La Verve. This weeks twist was 'DP inspiration'. Basically what that means is that you must gain inspiration from the designer paper that you used and you must only use one piece of DP. I've used some paper from the DCWV Pocketful of Posies. I picked it up for a bargain on eBay almost a year ago. I used the dominant purple colour in the paper as my inspiration.
Accessories: Swiss Dots embossing folder, Olivia alphabet dies, spellbinders scallop circles.

Bizzy Becs New Furniture Range
The lovely Bec sent me some images of her new funiture range along with a ton of Magnolia and Gorjuss Girls stamped images. As well as some other goodies as well. Thanks soo much Bec. I've been meaning to upload this earlier but been too lazy to take a photo. lol Not one of my best cards but its OK. I've used 'Waiting Chair' from Becs new furniture range along with a Magnolia image but not sure which one both coloured with Copics.
Also sorry about my blog background, apparently it will be fixed within the next day or so.

Card Patterns and Roses on Paper
This card is for two challenges, the Card Patterns sketch and the Roses on Paper Pink, Yellow and Green colour challenge. I have been wanting to participate in the Roses on Paper challenge for ages, but never found the time. But what better time to take part in the challenge because Summer is opening a new stamp store in July and they are holding a guest designer call. =D

Its called Belle's 'n Whistles and from what I can see from the image above, the stamps are super cute! Fingers crossed I get chosen.
Thanks for looking

Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #70
I had a go at this weeks Taylored Expressions Sketch #70. I quite like the end result. I haven't really made many red cards before.
For the image I stamped the Imaginisce flower and drew a green stem with my YG03 Copic marker. I stamped the flower again on pink cardstock and cut it out. Then I stamped it in yellow cardstock and cut out and stuck on the flower centre. I used a glue dot to stick down the pink flower to the stamped image and folded the petals up a bit to give it a 3d effect.
Must go finish a couple of assignments and I might get some stamping in later on. :)
Paper: We R Memory Keepers - Heart Attack - Twitterpatted
Accessories: YG03 Copic Marker, Pink Ribbon

Recycling a Ribbon Spool
Apologies for not being around much lately. I've been really tired and busy. Plus my mojo seems to have gone for walkies.
Anyway, onto today's project. Two of my friends liked the popping up name thing (I don't know what to call it) I created ages ago. Oh and let me tell you it is quite urgley. If you must see its here. I made it in July of last year. Really shows how much I have improved. At least I hope I have. haha I did make another one of these for my other friend but I never got to photograph it.
Sorry about the pictures, I've had to take them in the dark again, because I really want to get this to my friend tomorrow.
So as you can see you lift the top and a name comes out.

Cards
I actually made these cards a while ago but on just got time to upload them. This first card I have seen popping up everywhere. The original tutorial is here. This card was so fun to make and I really like the end result. The "Hey There Sunshine" sentiment is from Verve (Yes, I love my Verve stamps) hehe
I have had a card like this in my favourites on SCS for ages so I've finally decided to CASE it. Here is the original card. The patterned paper is Urban Garden by Stampin' Up and the blue cardstock is Bashful Blue. I really like this card as it could be used for almost any occasion, either male or female.

The Pink Elephant Challenge
Here is my card for The Pink Elephant challenge. I only just found this blog and I loved the sketch they have this week. I have used my new Stampin Up! scallop border punch. I will hopefully get a new one though as the guide is not straight, so it took me a while to get this scallop edge right. I am not sure of the name of the paper as I bought it early last year but the stamps are from Verve's Because of You set. Hope you like it.
